Corporate Half-Day Team Building / Off Site Days

Our half day cookery school sessions are an ideal and fun way to spend a morning or afternoon out of the office, getting to know your colleagues in a casual environment and learn a new cooking skill at the same time.

  • *Arrive 10 am Tea/Coffee/Scones
  • 1.5 hour demo by Paul, giving ideas on technique, recipes and inspiration on what you will cook later.
  • Teams divided into pairs and given a mystery bag to come up with their own dishes. Marks will be awarded for time, efficiency, waste management, creativity and taste.
  • The winning team receives a copy of Paul’s book.
  • 1pm sit down for a tasty lunch in the Cookery School Dining Room.


Price €1200 – based on 8 people or less. 
Additional attendees at €150 per person up to a max of 14

Paul Flynn’s Behind the Scenes Tannery Experience

What is the difference between a home cooked meal and a restaurant experience?

Paul will share his unique insight into the menu thought process. The dishes that became Tannery classics, the descriptions that work on a menu (and don’t work on a menu). Paul explains how seasonality is the cornerstone of his creativity and the many moving parts that make up a successful restaurant. He demonstrates two dishes from the current Tannery menu.

After a relaxing glass of wine or cocktail, walk across to the Tannery Restaurant where you will have dinner knowing how the menu was created. Bring home a signed copy of Paul’s book to get inside the mind of one of Ireland’s most established Chefs.

€150 per person – includes a welcome cocktail, dinner and copy of Paul’s book.

Based on a minimum of 10 and max 30 people.

Paul’s Dungarvan Experience

Meet at the Tannery Cookery School for coffee and scones before joining Paul for a chat about his favourite ingredients, his favourite styles of cooking and the ethos behind the Tannery. Then he will do a live demo for 1.5 hours on a theme appropriate to the season. In Summer light salads using our local vegetable suppliers. In Winter his favourite hearty and nourishing dishes.

Finish with lunch (or dinner depending on timings) and leave with a copy of Paul’s book.

€800 for two to four participants. Additional participants €120 per person to a max of 12.
